Directions

Directions to SCALE:

From Shakopee:

Take US 169 south, following it past MN 41.
Watch for signs for "Law Enforcement Training Center".
Turn right onto 173rd Street West 
Follow road around to the left, (Valley View Rd) then go about 1/2 mile.
Parking area is on the right, behind the building.
Building entrance is also in the rear.

From Jordan or Belle Plaine:

Take US 169 north from Jordan.
Watch for signs for "Law Enforcement Training Center".
Turn left onto 173rd Street West 
Follow road around to the left, (Valley View Rd) then go about 1/2 mile.
Parking area is on the right, behind the building.
Building entrance is at the rear of the building.

Optional Route from Jordan or Belle Plaine:

From jct of US169, MN 282, & CR 9:
Take CR 9 north, cross railroad tracks, then take first right onto Valley View Rd.
Follow Valley View Road north, it will turn to gravel, then cross the railroad tracks.
Facility is about 1/4 mile past RR crossing, on the left side.
Park in the rear, and enter building in the rear.

Directions to Montgomery Sportsmen's Club (trap)

From Jordan:
Follow MN 21 South through New Prague and Montgomery
On the south end of Montgomery, MN 21 makes a left turn. Turn left.
Shortly after turning left, there will be a railroad crossing. 
The Montgomery Sportsmen's Club is on the right, just after the railroad crossing.

Directions to Minnesota Valley Sportsmen's Club (OPTIONAL trap leagues):

From downtown Jordan (junction MN 21 and MN 282):

Follow MN 21 south toward New Prague
Just before climbing the big hill, turn right on CR 66 (Old Hwy 169 Blvd)
Follow CR 66 southwest for about 1 1/2 miles, turn left on Senator Drive
Go one block, facility is on the left.

Directions to Scott County Extension Office (County Fairgrounds):

From Jordan (jct. US 169, MN 282, and CR 9):

Turn north onto county road 9
Cross the railroad tracks
Turn left onto 190th St (township 57)
     (there will be a green sign just before the turn)
Follow 190th street about 1 1/2 miles 
Scott County Fairgrounds will be on the left.

Directions to Louisville Swamp Unit, Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge:

From Shakopee:

Take US 169 south, following it past MN 41.
Watch for signs for Louisville Swamp.
Turn right onto 145th Street - Cross railroad tracks, go past entrance to Minnesota Renaissance Festival parking lot (on right). 
Parking area is on left.

From Jordan or Belle Plaine:

Take US 169 north.
Go 1/4 mile past County Road 14, then turn left onto 145th Street (watch for brown signs for Louisville Swamp).
Cross railroad tracks, go past entrance to Minnesota Renaissance Festival parking lot (on right). Parking area is on left.

Directions to Weckman's Gravel Pit

From Shakopee:

Take US 169 south.
Turn right into last driveway before the driveway to Holiday
Stay to right, follow road past scale, then down into the pit.

From Jordan or Belle Plaine:

Take US 169 north.
At MN 41, continue north for about two blocks.
Make first left turn after MN 41, into driveway.
Stay to right, follow road past scale, then down into the pit.
